The beaches in Southeast Queensland are expected to shut down on Thursday due to windstorms.

In fact, New South Wales has also faced relentless storms along with wild weather conditions on Wednesday.

The bureau of Meteorology has also foretold that stormy gales gusting at a speed of up to 90 kilometers per hour are expected to hit the coastline throughout Thursday. Moreover, a region above four meters is also expected to be influenced by this kind of weather. There could be some dangerous surfs as well.

Earlier too, there have been warnings issued in the Gold Coast and Fraser Island regions against the windy weather. Particularly, stronger winds are expected to lash high-elevated areas and hence residents area also advised to be prepared in advance to face stronger winds.

Areas near Springbrook and Tamborine Mountain are most likely to face gale-force winds. People residing near Sunshine Coast are also advised to stay careful against the risky windy weather.

Boaters have also been warned against any sea trips by the Queensland Police Service. Also, the weather conditions are too relentless for any coastal activities. However, skilled surfers are the only ones who can possibly handle this kind of weather system, claims the Queensland Police.

State Emergency Service spokesperson Caroline Ortel said that rainfall of over 100 mm had surrounded the area overnight.
