A series of floods of floods have been throttling the Peruvian nation, and that too in just over one month. The first wave of floods were seen on February 27, with the second one being observed around March 7. A third wave of floods were seen over Amazon in Peru wherein at least 51 people have lost their lives now.

Meanwhile, another wave of floods were seen lashing the nation of Peru, continuing the disaster for the nation for quite some time now.

Homes in rural Peru had been washed away on Friday i.e. on March 29 after the Perene River breached its safe levels which furthermore affected thousands of families in Chanchamayo province.

Some floods seen in Central Peru can be once again attributed to the notorious El Nino. The sea surface temperatures are currently one degrees above over the oceans, resulting in convection, and thereby cloud formation over Peru.

There have been some gaps in between the floods. However, these floods will be a frequent affair until June, since the area has warmed. Caution should be exercised as the number of activities will be heightened.

The area of effect also shifts as the floods are never observed in one go over the entire country.
