The warm weather has finally bid adieu to the Northeast United States. In fact, areas on the elevation have witnessed the first batch of snow giving residents the relief from record warm weather conditions. The weekend turned out to be a good one for many residing in the United States.
As per the National Weather Service, the Adirondacks of New York witnessed as much as around half a foot of snowfall. Not only this, many areas in New Hampshire and Vermont also observed snow accumulation.
A good nine inches of snow was recorded in Bolton, Vermont. Even Holland in Vermont witnessed at least 8 inches of snow. As far as New Hampshire is concerned, Randolph recorded about 4.3 inches of snowfall.
The best view was to be seen in Snowshoe Mountain in West Virginia. Here, its snowed and it was just perfect as the USA Cycling Collegiate race was being held. The backdrop was simply magical as described by spectators.
Several areas of Walden, Norwich, Derby also witnessed some snowfall. Lincoln in Nebraska also witnessed some snowfall. Other areas to have received snow include Snowshoe in West Virginia and Catskills in New York. Reports of snowfall in Delaware County also came in.
