More rains are expected to throttle Texas as well as regions along the Florida Gulf Coast this week.

During the past week, pockets of Central Texas have recorded around one to three months worth of rain. Most locations, including Dallas and San Antonio have already acquired their wettest autumn on record.
However dry and cool air from the north brought a break from the rainy spells in the Lone Star State on this weekend.
Now the rainy spells are expected to head towards the south and around 25 to 75 mm of rain will fall in the lower Rio Grande Valley, with expected to reach around 150 mm from Sunday night into Monday. In fact, more showers are expected throughout the week and so people are advised to be prepared for flash flooding.
The two tropical systems, Vicente and Willa would induce more moisture into the South Central and Southeastern states during this week.
As Willa will move into north-central Mexico, heavy downpours are expected to remain over Texas, hitting the same regions across central, southern and eastern Texas that have already been walloped by rain over the last 10 days. Rain is also expected to strike locations in Northern Florida and Georgia.
This rain would trigger flash flooding leading to further swelling of the already swollen rivers and reservoirs in Texas.
