Melbourne is set for cool and windy weather

Move over spring, winter is still here in Melbourne

After witnessing a warm outburst on Sunday, Melbourne is now set for a windy and cool afternoon. As rain was observed over the southern region of the state, a cold front too made its way over the region.

Afternoons in Melbourne saw a rising temperature settling at 26°C, mercury level witnessed a drop at 20 degrees during later afternoon hours.

As per the forecasters, temperatures are further expected to curtail down as even more cold fronts are expected to sweep the capital city.

Possibility of good rains are though not foreseen, cold breezes can however still be predicted. Moreover, temperatures can even fall down and are likely to fall more with some quantity of precipitation as well.

However, the cool winds that were observed over Melbourne on Monday are not set to ease down until evening. Winds gusting at the speed of 75km/h can be expected.

St Kilda may also face gusting winds of up to 80km/h just after 2pm. But then these winds are still likely to ease off during the late afternoon hours.

After observing a pretty warm morning, the weather will turn upside down paving way for some colder weather conditions to loop in. the middle of the week on the other side will be mostly dry. Some light showers are though expected the next day as well.

A comparatively mild condition can be expected on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Mercury is expected to crown in the low 20s. However, Friday can be said to be a wet day again as rains are likely to return with a vengeance paving way for wetter weekends.
