Hurricane Irma has wreaked havoc over the Caribbean Islands as well as the state of Florida along with some parts of Georgia as well as both the Carolinas. Now, the residents of the said states are dealing with the aftermath and trying to get back to normal life, piece by piece.
Meanwhile, the roaring Atlantic gave birth to another storm called Maria which has already reached the hurricane status. Now, as per weather experts and forecasters, Hurricane Maria may soon reach the Cat 4 Status and may even follow Irma’s path.
As per the latest update by the National Hurricane Center, Hurricane Maria continues to strengthen and may reach the Cat 4 Status in the next 48 hours. In fact, over the next few days, Maria is expected to hit the Leeward Islands causing heavy rains, storm surge along with torrential winds over the region.

In fact, while it affects the Leeward Islands, Maria will reach the status of a major Hurricane status. Hurricane warnings have been issued for areas of Leeward Islands and as the storm moves, the warnings will also extend to other areas.
By the middle of the week, Hurricane Maria is expected to wreak havoc over the British and the US Virgin Islands along with parts of Puerto Rico. Weather experts are closely monitoring Maria to see whether it will become a hurricane as dangerous as Irma and cause the same level of devastation in the Caribbean and other parts.
