Tropical storms Karl and Lisa have been wreaking havoc over many parts of United States. Now, both these systems are likely to merge in the Atlantic and attain the category of a super storm. The Atlantic jet stream is expected to send these systems to Britain.
This upcoming weather condition is expected to mark the end of the balmy September which has been resulting in increasing temperatures. Before merging with Lisa, Karl may be able to reach the hurricane status.
The United Kingdom is at the risk of inclement weather conditions around Tuesday. The superstorm will be accompanied by mega winds which will result in torrential rains along with severe gales. There may be massive damage due to the upcoming herculean weather feature.
As per America's National Hurricane Centre, Karl is expected to intensify into a hurricane during the next 24 hours. Thereafter, rapid weakening is also in cards for the tropical weather system. However, Karl will continue to produce hurricane-force winds resulting in inclement weather conditions over North United Kingdom.
Both Northern England as well as Scotland may witness power outages and some damage may be caused to trees due to the mega winds. On Tuesday, Karl will track between United Kingdom and Iceland.
While Lisa is expected to die down in strength, when it merges with Karl, it is expected to bring several rounds of heavy rains and gusty winds to the United Kingdom.
Temperatures are expected to drop down to quite an extent and the weather is expected to remain windy and wet throughout the week.
The Northwest parts will witness severe gales while the South will mostly remain quiet with less weather activity over the region. On Friday, there is likely to be a mix of sunshine and rain with cooler weather conditions.
