Iran had seen floods due to a Western Disturbance which had wreaked havoc killing at least 44 people in the country. The same system further moved to Central Asia and thereafter to Jammu and Kashmir causing some rains over these areas.
Heavy rains and flash flooding in the nation has also affected several roads in Iran. Additionally, the danger is not over yet as another system is likely to bring more rains over Iran and add to the woes of the residents.
Currently, another system is over East Mediterranean Sea, and is moving to Middle East which includes the regions of Jordan, Lebanon, and Iran.
Thus, another spell of heavy rainfall is in store for some parts of Iran after 24 hours. In fact, rainfall is likely to begin on Saturday and last until Monday, which means the nation should gear up for a three day rainy spell. Rainfall activity may be heavy in some parts of the nation, which will further enhance the flooding conditions that persist over the country.
Moreover, the areas of adjoining Saudi Arabia could see dust storm, strong winds, and thunderstorms during this time.
Therefore, the residents of Iran need to be at caution and the government should take all the necessary steps to reduce the damage level.
