While October is just a few inches away, people in Britain are still likely to witness climbing temperatures. Most importantly, after observing a warmer than average September, October too is coming along without much respite from heat.
As per the Met Department, most of the Britons can expect the start of October with warm weather conditions. Temperatures are likely to raise above 20°C.
Further, it is assumed that Indian Summers are probably making way towards Britain. Prior to this, last month has already been booked as the hottest September of recent years.
The average monthly temperature of the country over last 30 years being 6.5°C. However, September 13 has been recorded as the warmest day in Britain when the mercury settled at a whopping 34.4°C in Gravesend, Kent.
This was the highest unexpected temperature for the UK. Moreover, now, October is also expected to commence with a warm spell.
Although the average temperatures for the current month this year is not yet confirmed but witnessing the trend, it is predictable that the mercury will definitely scale up a few degrees above the normal monthly average.
As per the weatherman, the coming week can be a said to give some fairly pleasant weather conditions. Though the nation will not see the mercury soaring up to 34°C again like a few weeks ago. But, it is still not expected to settle under 20°C as well.
The coming weekend will also be pleasant with not much temperatures rising foreseen. Moreover, showers are also likely this weekend that will cool the things down. Hence, Britons will be spared from witnessing warm weather this weekend.
The forecasters also presume that like the last year, this year too, mild winters are waiting to bask the UK as snow is also expected to hit the nation between November and February.
