Hot weather to persist in Canada till September

Canada is currently witnessing dry and hot weather conditions. As per Environment Canada, this sultry weather is expected to last in Canada till the fag end of September month.

Most parts of Canada might also witness an above average temperature for left over days of the month until September.

The state witnessed a dry month in June as well and those conditions continued till July and are likely to last till September. During the month of June, Canada received a total monthly rainfall ranging from 30 to 71 per cent below normal.

During the first two weeks of July, Canada observed 26 percent of the expected rains. Moreover, the country just observed less than 5 mm rains which usually occurred during night.

The air temperatures in Canada too went on above average. Although the temperature was still better during the initial days of June but went up to rise to 30°C making the climate conditions warm and soggy.

Moreover, the country witnessed hotter days but was pampered by cooler nights that made the weather little comfortable for the populates. The average air temperature for June came to 17.9°C which was just .07°C above the long-term average.

As per the Meteorological Department, the ongoing dry weather affected the low water levels in the Grand River system. Moreover, below average precipitation is also predicted for southern Ontario to the end of September.
