June 12, 2017 11:03 AM | Skymet Weather Team

Bangladesh has been observing on and off good showers during the last few days. All thanks to the well-marked low pressure area that has intensified into a deep depression and crossed the coast of Bangladesh today at 5 am.

Besides this, Southwest Monsoon has also advanced into more parts of Barisal, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions. Moreover, southeast-easterly winds are blowing over the region. These humid winds are resulting in the formation of convective clouds, paving way for good rainfall over the country.
