The state of Indiana was one of the most affected states. In fact, a state of emergency was declared in the towns of Elkhart and Goshen. Moreover, the people were forced to leave their homes as the water levels rose. Since 1975, in Michigan, the Red Cedar River in Lansing was at its highest peak. Students from schools were also rescued. The residents are in a complete panic as water is all over the place.

Moreover, light to moderate flooding is expected to continue over Ohio. Meanwhile, Mississippi river will be less flooded over the next few weeks as it takes longer time for floods to take on the larger rivers. Relief is not in the forecast, as rains will continue to occur. Due to this, water levels will not get time to settle down.
