Heavy rains are expected during the weekend for most parts of the UK. A low pressure can be seen towards the shores, which will bring some wet conditions across England and Wales in particular on Saturday. However, the weather is likely to brighten up again on Sunday and the temperatures will rise with maximums of 26 °C into the mid of the next week.
As per weather experts, warm air is expected to be pulled in from the Atlantic due to the remnants of Hurricane Gaston which is passing by. The storm is likely to reduce considerably till the time it reaches Britain carrying a trail of warm air.
According to the Met Dept., Saturday will bring heavy rains to most parts of the country thereafter the weather will become dry.
Similarly, Friday is expected to be breezy with some sunny spells but there will be some persistent showers in the northwest.
Temperatures over the weekend will be around 21 °C (69.8 °F) or 22 °C (71.6 °F) or marginally higher which is above average for this time of year.
The remnants of Hurricane Gaston are likely to arrive late in the weekend and into Monday. Moreover, it will bring a warm plume to the country with temperatures in the mid 20 °C, possibly a little bit above.
