As reiterated by Skymet Meteorology Division in India, the hot and humid conditions in Pakistan have given way to pleasant weather in the country. This is due to fairly widespread moderate to heavy rainfall over northern, central and southeastern parts of Pakistan.
According to the data available with Skymet, Bahawalpur in a span of 24 hours, from 8:30 am on Tuesday has recorded 66 mm of rain. Dir got 20 mm of rain, while Murree and Bar Khan received 18 mm of rain. Kakul received 16 mm and Chhor in southeast Pakistan recorded 4.3 mm of rain.
Temperatures across North and Central Pakistan have dropped significantly during the last 24 hours due to this weather activity.
Weathermen at Skymet say that a deep depression close to Gujarat coast may give scattered rain over southeast Pakistan adjacent to Rajasthan. There is also a Western Disturbance which is currently affecting North and Central Pakistan, which will continue giving fairly widespread rain and thundershowers over the region. However, Southwest and South Pakistan including Karachi will continue to observe hot and sultry weather. In Central Pakistan where temperatures were running above 40°C, will experience some relief for the next two to three days.
