Germany to witness chilly weather through mid week

Germany will witness a chilly weather throughout November during the mid-week. Cold air is likely to stroke across the country.

The first round of chilly air is expected to move southward across Germany on Tuesday night till Wednesday. The maximum temperatures from Stuttgart to Cologne and Dortmund are expected to rise around 10°C on Wednesday and Thursday.

Hamburg to Berlin and Dresden will witness coldest air on Thursday where temperatures are likely to reach 5-6°C. In fact, some light scattered showers along with the chilly air are also likely to stroke Hamburg and Cologne to Dresden and Nuremberg during the middle of the week.

Though these spells would be for a shorter duration of time and may last for less than 30 minutes at a time. Early November is also expected to bring in some really icy weather for Berlin. The same is expected to witness maximums of around 9°C (49 F).

Munich and Stuttgart are likely to escape the rains on Wednesday and Thursday. But, before drier weather could return on Thursday, brief showers dampening few areas of Berlin are foreseen.

Moreover, from Sunday until Monday, a significant storm system is also expected to make an influence over the country, thereby bringing in chilly rain along with windy air and high-elevation snow throughout the country.

Following this storm, the coldest air since last winter will settle across Germany. Another shot of frigid air could follow before the end of next week.
