A cold front will move southwards across Germany on Tuesday. This will bring cool gusty winds during the middle of the week. Rainfall will occur throughout the day on Tuesday from Frankfurt to Berlin, while Munich and surrounding areas will remain very dry and mild. The rainfall will occur on Tuesday night over Munich. Cool and gusty northwesterly winds will sweep the entire country on Wednesday and Thursday.
The maximum temperatures will range from 3°C to 7°C, which is relatively cool than earlier yet several degrees above normal for this time of the year. Along with the cool gusty winds light to moderate showers will occur both on Wednesday as well as Thursday from Hamburg to Berlin. Some spotty showers are also expected on each day in Frankfurt and Munich. Rainfall will be between 6 mm to 12 mm through the entire course.
The winds will turn from northwesterly to southwesterly on Friday, thereby bringing very mild conditions and ending the wet spell. In Frankfurt, the maximum temperatures will settle close to 10°C and the mild conditions will also reach east in Berlin where a high of 9°C is expected. The mild conditions will remain throughout the weekend with isolated showers only.
A strong storm system will impact Germany early next week which will bring damaging winds of upto 80 kmph and heavy rain over the region.
