Dry weather to continue this week as storms elude UK

Dry weather will continue across much of UK which will provide comfortable afternoons and will be just perfect for outdoor activities. The dry weather is attributed to a high-pressure area stagnant over north of Scotland. This started to affect the region from late last week and will continue to affect throughout this week. This high-pressure area will protect UK from any kind of storms as they will bypass UK from the north and the west.

This will result in largely dry weather during the day and temperatures in night will be either normal or slightly above normal. Most days during this week will start on a foggy note with some low clouds before giving way to sunshine during the afternoon. Similar conditions will prevail across much of Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

On Tuesday, the temperatures during the afternoon across England will be in the range of 9-11°C, while slightly higher temperatures of upto 13°C is expected across parts Wales, western Scotland, and northern Ireland.

On Wednesday, there will only be a marginal drop in temperatures ranging from 8-10°C across England, eastern Scotland and Wales. In western Scotland and Northern Ireland the temperatures will be between 10°C to 12°C.

Similar conditions will be experienced on Thursday as well. Generally dry and pleasant weather will prevail from Friday into early part of next week, after which a storm system will pass just to the north which will bring in a chance of showers and chilly winds.
