Cooler conditions and showers to affect Germany midweek

germanyA storm system is moving across the North Sea which will push showers and gusty winds into northwestern Germany on Wednesday afternoon. There will be scattered showers across entire Germany from Wednesday night into Thursday. However, at any given location showers will be light and lasting upto 30 minutes. These showers will be accompanied by cool air and occasional gusty winds.

The maximum temperatures on Thursday will be between 6°C to 11°C which is comparatively cooler than they were on Sunday and Monday. This was the time when the entire country was undergoing the warmest conditions of the year so far.

Another storm system approaching from the Mediterranean Sea will cause rain and cloudy condition across southern and eastern Germany on Friday while the rest of the region will remain dry.

Temperatures from Frankfurt and Hamburg to Berlin will be normal on Friday with maximum temperature going upto 13°C. Further south maximum temperatures of upto 10°C is expected from Stuttgart to Munich.

The rainfall and clouds will make the conditions chilly in Nuremburg. So, people visiting Nuremburg have been advised to carry umbrellas and jackets.

Drier and milder conditions are expected over the weekend throughout Germany with higher temperatures and more sunshine. Temperatures on Sunday afternoon will be between 13°C to 16°C.
