After sweltering in sizzling heat for almost three weeks, it seems chilly weather for most of the regions over England is just round the corner. It is being assumed that due to cooler air sweeping in southward to London and Southeast England, this heat ended on Thursday.
Temperatures also settled close to 32°C in London and it touched 33.5°C in Brize Norton on Tuesday.
As reiterated by meteorologists, the heat is now not expected to make a comeback for next few weeks. Temperatures are also expected to remain below normal through most of the United Kingdom during the concluding week of July and initial days of August.
However, London can still expect soaring temperatures this weekend that will settle around or above 27°C.
The heat rattled the local rail service but now the weather pattern will change and cooler marine air endowed by the Atlantic depressions will prohibit resurgence of heat until August.
Cloudy days are also expected to make their appearance along with possibility of few good showers. These rainy spells are predicted across the northern and western region of U.K.
Few areas in Wales and northern England will witness only a few days with temperatures reaching upto 21°C. Northern Ireland and Scotland on the contrary, are likely to observe much cooler days with temperatures not rising above 18°C.
