Most of the Central New York is expected to witness pleasant weather conditions by mid-November. Cold shots along with the storm systems are not foreseen for the New York City this week.
A high pressure spreading from Texas to the Mid-Atlantic region is likely this week. As Central New York is on the northern edge of this high, thus, since Saturday evening, the skies have remained clear.
Monday was therefore expected to remain sunny throughout and the temperatures were also likely to stay cool due to these clear skies and calm winds. Though the temperatures were also expected to witness a high next morning. Afternoon mercury was foreseen to settle in the mid-50s.
However, later part of the afternoon was expected to witness some high clouds building up due to a small area of low pressure that has been developing along the Carolina coast. This weather system was further likely to move towards north. Moreover, on Tuesday, this low is also expected to move along the east coast and finally into the New England.
Few showers over the area are also expected on Tuesday due to a couple of weak system. This downpour is also expected to continue until Wednesday however, the amount of the rain falling will be comparatively very light.
Though the weather system as per the weatherman will be relatively smaller in size yet, some short rainy spells are possible in Central New York on Tuesday. The rain may be very light in nature with much of them measuring even less than an inch.
Maximum day temperature on Tuesday is also expected to remain in the upper 40s followed by the cloud cover which is considered as nearly average for this time of the year. Though, the flow of air over Central New York will become northeasterly as the low passes by.
On Wednesday, chances of another weak system coming from the northwest is also likely to approach Central New York. But will not have much impact on the region. This weather system is expected to get absorbed by the New England system before it can track towards Central New York.
Wednesday will therefore be mostly cloudy with a stray shower possible, but many areas will likely remain dry throughout the day. Temperatures will be in the low 50s on Thursday although Friday may even witness soaring temperatures of upper 50s or even 60s. Weekend may be even warmer.
