Hurricane Hermine that has been relentless all across the eastern United States is expected to shift and push a low plow-pressure towards UK. Gusty winds of up to 100 kmph are expected in parts of Scotland and northern England with more than 25 mm of rain expected to pour in a span of few hours.
This weather condition comes after Britain was baked and had a hot start to September with temperatures hitting 29.3°C on Wednesday in Kent. Summer has officially ended on the last day of August but this week brought some of the highest temperatures that surpassed temperatures of last three months.
Although it will feel fresher into the weekend the mercury will still hover above-average for the time of year. Eastern England will nudge 25°C on Saturday with highs of 21°C forecast across the south and 17°C in the north.
A low pressure area will sweep past the country over the next couple of days. The warm weather will make a comeback next week with temperatures hitting back to 20°C.
The Weatherman warned as to expect a cooler feel on Friday all thanks to the burst of strong winds and rain. The north region of the country will bear the brunt of the unsettled conditions before the south takes a hammering over the weekend.
