Snow show over New York City and adjoining areas of New Jersey continues. So much so that nearly eight inches of snow fell on parts of long island, less elsewhere. This resulted in slick Tuesday commute along with which, colder weather looms.

According to reports, as a lot of snow showers were seen in New York on Tuesday morning. Suffolk County was hit the hardest by Tuesday’s storm. As per the police, nearly 150 car accidents were reported.
For most people, the snow was a little more than just nuisance as it had left the roads untravellable. Less snow had fallen in Central Park, northern New Jersey and some parts of Queens. However, these snow showers took a backseat by mid-morning.
Meanwhile, temperatures will trend as much colder Tuesday into Wednesday. However, Wednesday and Thursday will both be dry with partly cloudy to clear skies. Temperatures will be seen rising since Thursday.
According to reports, rain is also expected later in the week. In fact, rain and snow are predicted for Thursday night. Followed by a cold and dry week, chances of snow returning on Friday are quite likely. Maximum temperatures are expected to settle in the mid-30s on Friday. Meanwhile, Saturday is expected to record a high of around 31 degrees Fahrenheit.
