Millions across the globe have had the opportunity of witnessing the Rare Total Solar Eclipse during the early morning hours. While most parts of the United States and Europe could not enjoy that stunning view of the eclipse, quite a few areas in Southeast Asia were lucky enough to witness the rare occurrence.
People from all across the globe made the effort of travelling to Indonesia, where the eclipse was visible at its best. Malaysia, Bangladesh, Thailand, Myanmar, Singapore were a few other countries to have seen the eclipse.
The solar eclipse was also visible over the Pacific Ocean. So much so that the Alaska Airlines changed its flight timings to let its passengers enjoy the view of the eclipse while flying from Alaska to Hawaii.
Residents in several parts of India also woke up to a partial solar eclipse. Cities including Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Visakhapatnam had the fortune of being a part of the eclipse. For those who missed the solar eclipse, here are a few stunning images.
