Sky-gazers from different parts of the world enjoyed a rare celestial treat towards the end of September. A big, bright, and arguably red super moon greeted viewers in North America, South America, and western Europe on Sunday.
This rare combination of a total lunar eclipse along with this year's closest full moon was being touted as a must-watch astronomical event.
