Penguin underpass, New Zealand: A small town in New Zealand, Oamaru has developed the first underpass for the little blue penguins or Kororas to help these flightless birds to cross the busy roads that lie in between the sea and their nests. This underpass has made life easier for these tiny birds to cross a busy road in the Harbour and feed their little ones after sunset.
