Wheat sowing is in peak in the key producing states of India. As per the recent report of farm ministry, wheat sown on 4.47 lakh hectare as compared to 9.39 lakh hectare during the same period of last year. Wheat is the major rabi crop in India. Major wheat producing states are Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
