Wheat is the major rabi crop in India. Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Rajashtan are the major wheat producing states. Now farmers are engaged in the land preparation activities for sowing of wheat. Wheat is generally sown in first fortnight of November month. Cool weather condition is the favourable for the wheat crop growth.
