Wheat is the major rabi crop in India. Now farmers are engaged in the land preparation activities for sowing of wheat. Indian Government is likely to increase the minimum support price (MSP)of wheat to endorse the planting of the staple crop in more area during the rabi season. The MSP may be hiked by Rs 50 to Rs 1,450 per quintal.
