Wheat is second largest cereal in India after rice. Due to adoption of modern production technology, the production of wheat was accelerated in India. Presently wheat crop is reaching towards the maturity stage in the key producing states of India. Current wheat prices were ranging from Rs 1300-1800 per quintal in the major markets.
