The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has pegged the global wheat output for 2014-15 at 722 million tons, a new record, as larger crop expected in Canada and Kazakhstan. India is also the major wheat producing country in the world. Presently wheat crop is in reproductive growth stage in key producing states of India.
