South Africa's Crop Estimates Committee (CEC) said that the forecast for the 2015 wheat crop output is estimated at 1.51 million tonnes, down from 1.54 million tonnes in the previous forecast. The persisting drought conditions that have impacted negatively on the yield of wheat, especially in the Free State province.
