Romania will harvest a smaller wheat crop this year, with spring floods and recent dry weather taking a toll on quality, but the country will be able to supply Egypt's state buyer - the world's largest wheat importer. The Black Sea state reaped a record 7.4 million tonnes of wheat last year, a post-European Union entry high.
