Prevailing cloudy weather conditions in North India is favourable for the infection of yellow rust in wheat crop, according to the Agriculture Expert. Early sown wheat in the key growing Northern states are reaching towards the maturity. Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh are the major wheat producing states.
