Iran's state grain buying agency, the Government Trading Corporation (GTC), said it was considering a 2 million tonne cut in its strategic wheat reserves after the lifting of sanctions to save on storage costs. Iran's large wheat reserves were built up to guarantee local food supplies during past years of heated political tensions in the country.
