French soft wheat exports outside the European Union slowed in October to 581,621 tonnes, down almost 100,000 tonnes from the previous month, to push the total so far this season below the year-earlier level, customs data showed. October's exports, led by 311,530 tonnes to Algeria, took French shipments outside the bloc.
