Egypt expects to buy 5.3 million tonnes of wheat from local farmers by the end of the season in mid-July, according to the supplies minister. Egypt government expect to buy about 5.3 tonnes of wheat from farmers this season, said the Egypt’s supplies minister. The amount is more than the ministry's target of 3.7 million tonnes.
