As per reports, the total area sown under Rabi crops as on 11th November 2016 stands at 146.85 lakh hectares as compared to 126.71 lakh hectares sown at the same time last year. Wheat has been sown in 25.72 lakh hectares up by more than 37% than the 18.65 lakh hectares sown at the same time last year.
