According to the recent data released by Ministry of Agriculture, wheat sowing area in India is at 306.35 lakh hectares as compared to the last year’s 315.32 lakh hectares. Total rabi crops area coverage in India as on February 6, 2015 moves to 605.85 lakh hectares while last year’s sowing area was at 644.92 lakh hectare.
