According to the recent data released by Ministry of Agriculture, wheat sowing area in India is at 306.35 lakh hectares as compared to last year’s 315.32 lakh hectares. Total rabi crops area coverage in India as on February 20, 2015 is moves to 617.97 lakh hectares while last year’s sowing area was at 659.31 lakh hectare.
