Spot turmeric prices increased at Erode market due to strong upcountry demand. Many traders received fresh demand from North India and so the traders procured good number of bags quoting higher price. The local turmeric was up by Rs 100 per quintal at Erode market. The bullish trend in turmeric prices is expected to continue in the coming days.
