Turmeric spot prices were showing bullish trend in the major markets of key producing states in India. At Sangli spot market, rajapuri turmeric prices were up to Rs 12275 per quintal. Indian turmeric future prices were also up on account of the weak production forecast in major producing states such as Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
