Turmeric prices were showing bearish trend at Erode market on account of low upcountry demand. Traders received some new upcountry orders for the turmeric, the farmers are bringing only medium and poor quality turmeric for sale. Traders are buying only limited stocks and are expecting full demand from the second week of August.
