Turmeric prices were decreased in Erode spot markets in Andhra Pradesh due to heavy arrival. At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association sales yard, the finger variety old turmeric was sold at Rs 5,711-8,505 per quintal and the root variety Rs 5,434-7,699 per quintal. Erode is the major market of turmeric. Traders are keen in buying quality turmeric.
