Turmeric prices were decreased at the Erode spot market. The buyers procured 60 per cent of the arrived stocks. This may be due to the non-receipt of upcountry demand for turmeric, according to the analysts. At the Erode Turmeric market, the finger variety traded at Rs 7,299-8,806 per quintal; the root variety at Rs 7,123-8,273.
