Turmeric| Turmeric prices were decreased at Erode

Turmeric prices were decreased at Erode markets by Rs 200-300 per quintal on account of non-receipt of upcountry demand. The Salem Hybrid turmeric fetched Rs 10,077 per quintal. At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association, the finger variety was sold at Rs 8,414-10,077 while the root variety turmeric at Rs 8,214-9,239 per quintal.
