Turmeric prices increased by Rs 700 per quintal at the Erode market due to arrival of super fine hybrid turmeric. At the Erode turmeric market, finger turmeric was sold at Rs 3,600-6,065 per quintal, the root variety Rs 3,496-5,377 per quintal. Usually for Durga Pooja, Erode traders will receive good number of upcountry orders for turmeric.
