Turmeric prices in major spot markets of India were showing bearish trend on account of higher arrivals and less demand from the north India. This trend will continue in the coming days, said the traders. At Erode spot market, new turmeric prices for the finger variety were Rs 6,338-8,489 per quintal and for the root variety Rs 6,311-7,311.
