Turmeric prices at Nizamabad spot market are ruling firm at Rs. 8500. This is mainly due to the receipt of some orders from North India. Turmeric production for the year 2015-16 is estimated to be around 3.15 lakh tonnes. Turmeric stocks at NCDEX accredited warehouse dropped by 194 tonnes which was around 5541 tonnes.
