Turmeric prices at Erode spot markets were decreased following a decline in prices of the spices in futures markets.  At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association, the finger turmeric was sold at Rs 8,646-10,010 per quintal; the root turmeric variety Rs 8,619-9,399. Bearish trend in turmeric prices are expected to prevail in the coming days, said the traders.
