Turmeric prices at Erode market were decreased due to lack of upcountry demand. The finger variety turmeric prices were Rs 4,589-7,449 per quintal; root variety at Rs 4,366-6,909. According to the analysts, bearish trend in the turmeric prices will continue on account of poor quality arrivals and less demand from the North India.
